Reading is fun because of hubs like these. I don't think I could walk in there lokking for a haircut, I might if I needed a bikini waxing.īenson Yeung from Hong Kong on September 26, 2008: I wonder how many customers they actually have. Great Hub, again! I loved the Bushwackers one. Gwendymom from Oklahoma on October 09, 2008: This hub is not one of my personal favorites, but it has by far and away the most views of any I have written - especially by sources outside of HubPages- don't really know why. Rochelle Frank (author) from California Gold Country on October 09, 2008: Great Hub! We have some of those too, but we also have "Just Cuttin'", "Cuttin' Up", "The Cutting Edge", "The Wild Hair", "The Cuttery", "Hair Masters", and "Hair We Are". KRC from Central Texas on October 20, 2008: Thanks for commenting- I appreciate every visit. It was fun, but not my best in my own opinion. Thanks- this is my highest hub in visits- but I really don't know why, probably some other sites picked it up. Rochelle Frank (author) from California Gold Country on October 20, 2008: I've always thought of how funny they were and who could come up with these. Rebecca Graf from Wisconsin on November 01, 2008: I was trying to use words that relate to the coast and hair for an excample Waves of the hair and waves of the ocean. We live on a corner, and I will be having a Coastal theme in the shop, however I do not live on the coast. Looking for a name for a shop I will be opening in my house. SurfStyles.? I'm sure yu will find something perfect. Rochelle Frank (author) from California Gold Country on December 28, 2008: This is why I am asking for Help.Ĭorner Cuts, Shades & Waves ? Too long Like Corner Shades & Waves However I think it sounds like I'm selling sunglasses on a corner in the shade. I do wish to add I wish to have incorporated into the name somewhere, "Corner" However when I make my price list for the people I will make the words come alive. I can still have the Salon in a coastal theme. They were so stuck in the past!! But I always loved calling my salons the "Comb-a-cabana"!!! If I open up another salon I'm sticking with it!!!! It turned out horrible! Those people didn't get it at all and I kept getting calls from old farmers wanting to know if my salon was a new beer joint! The old women in town - well, you can probably guess. I had tropical plants everywhere, an old piano in the corner, wore tropical attire and served non-alcoholic coctails. I moved there from Florida.(big mistake!!) anyway, I called my salons the "Comb-a-cabana" club and had it decked out like the Copacabana in Bogart's movie. Almost 25 years ago I owned my own salon (twice) in Kansas. I'm a hairstylist who was out of the cosmo loop for quite awhile and now going back into the profession again. It would probably do fine in Florida or California. I think that's adorable.- maybe just not the right place.
